WISTRA can be used in various configurations to provide solutions to almost every need in wire straightening. It can be used in multi-planes at different angles or can be combined as many stages as desired. The pressure of each roll can be adjusted independently and easily. Thanks to the quick-release mechanism, loading/unloading operations can be carried out in seconds!
WISTRA is suitable to work with any type of steel wire, as well as tungsten, magnesium and titanium alloys.
It can be equipped with “V-Groove” rollers for wire and “U-Groove” rollers for tube straightening.

For cantilever type of support, you can add up to 5 modules together. If you use middle supports, then you can combine any number of WISTRAs together.

It simply defines the possible angular configurations of a tandem connection. For example; you can add 2 WISTRA modules together with 45, 90, 135 or 180 degrees but not with 15, 60 or 72 degrees (Since angular resolution is 45 degrees).

No. WISTRA is a mechanical equipment. It has no capability of pulling/drawing a wire or a tube. You should use WISTRA accompanied with a drawing machine.

The bolts carrying the rolls shall be locked by counter nuts, which are already available on WIPROS. Therefore, they will not loosen.
