WIPROS
Profile Sensors

WIPROS stands out with its ultra-large measuring width and modular architecture. The standard width of a single module is 50 cm; where modules can be added together to form a 5 m sensor! Unlike most of the products available in the market, WIPROS is developed considering cost & computational power efficiency.

WIPROS is target and ambient resilient! TOF calculations enables it to measure independent from ambient light conditions, target size, color and reflectance. User friendly features like automatic calibration and fast setup makes WIPROS easy to deploy and install.

Thanks to its generic capabilities, WIPROS can be utilized in every industry for quality control, measurement, scanning, profiling, counting or compliance applications.

Meet our reliable, accurate & cost-efficient profile sensor and boost your productivity!

FAQ
  • How precise is WIPROS?
We should answer this question into 2 parts; i) measurement distance tolerance ii) resolution. measurement distance tolerance: if you place an object, for example 100 mm distant from WIPROS, it will measure this 100 mm distance with ±0,5 mm tolerance. resolution: is basically the lateral distance of beam arrays of WIPROS. The distance between beam arrays is 8 mm in WIPROS. Therefore, for example if you want to scan a 100 mm wide object by WIPROS, you’ll obtain 12 data points. In other words, you cannot measure objects narrow than 8 mm with WIPROS. WIPROS is designed and developed regarding cost and computational power efficiency. If you have to scan a relatively large span, WIPROS will have a significant advantage over LIDAR, camera, etc. But if you want to scan a small object with high precision, other sensor alternatives maybe more suitable for your application.
  • What is the sampling cycle time of WIPROS?
The measurement/sampling cycle time is 0.1 seconds.
  • Is it “plug & play” or does it need modifications for our application?
You can have WIPROS as a product or a “project”. If you want to get WIPROS as a product, you can develop your own software for your application. Thanks to its RS232 data output, you can process WIPROS data points with any type of controllers/processors. If you want to have a “plug & play” system, we’ll handle this topic as a “customized project” and develop a software regarding your requirements.
