It then calculates the ideal scoring path for each dough and transfers this information to its robotic subsystem. Our talented robot does the rest and creates perfect cuts on every dough. And it does not forget to clean its blade!

The operation is completely autonomous where no operator intervention is needed. SCORD automatically adapts itself to production line speed as it stands by in the absence of doughs.

SCORD is developed to work on conventional tunnel oven lines with fabric belts; but it can also work with metal trays or wooden boards.

  • Which types of breads/doughs are suitable for SCORD?
    SCORD can basically work on all types of doughs. Thanks to its various scoring attachments, it can precisely cut relatively hard or soft doughs in desired depth and shape. Also, the weight or geometry of the dough does not matter for SCORD!
  • Is it food-safe?
    All of SCORD components are either 304 stainless steel or food grade plastics which makes them safe to operate over doughs.
  • For which type of oven is SCORD suitable for?
    SCORD is ideal for tunnel ovens. For rack ovens, please refer to our other scoring systems.
  • For which type of proofer is SCORD suitable for?
    SCORD can work with any type of “in-line” or “stand-alone” dough proofers.
  • Can it identify and score stitched doughs?
    Sure, it can! Therefore, it can compensate the erroneous layout of your doughs on conveyor lines or boards.
